    AVSS-2014 Banquet (Aug. 28)
    Schedule : Deok-su-gung -> Samwon Garden (Banquet)
  •  Pick-up bus will be ready at Korea University
  •   Date & Time : August 28, 2014 (THU) 18:00~22:00
    1. Deok-su-gung(덕수궁)
    •  Time : 17:00 ~ 18:30
    •  Tel : +82-2-771-9955
    •  Address : 99, Sejongno, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Korea
    Deok-su-gung, also known as Gyeong-un-gung, is one of the Five Grand Palaces built by the kings of the Joseon Dynasty. Deok-su-gung is the only walled compound of palaces in Seoul that features modern designs, a garden, a fountain, and even Western style structures, which makes it a great blend of the Middle Ages and the modern world.

    Although its scale is not as large as other palaces in Seoul, the delicate design of the structures and the view of Inwangsan(mt.) will make Deok-su-gung a refreshing place to walk. Especially, a stroll from Ham-nyeong-jeon to Seok-jo-jeon will certainly be an exotic experience.

    Located at Seoul City Hall Station, 2nd exit (Subway Line 1) or 12th exit (Subway Line 2)
    2. Samwon Garden
    Time : 19:00 ~ 21:00
    Samwon Garden is one of Korea¡?s largest first-class restaurants where you can find traditional food as well as an outstanding Korean style landscape composed of waterwheels, huts, ponds with tropical fish, traditional swing, waterfall, and many trees.

    Please enjoy Bulgogi and Galbi, which are both Korea¡?s most favored menus. You will be able to experience the Korean style barbecue, which meat is cooked on grills right in front of you.
